Accommodations

From a standard room to a deluxe suite, you can be assured that your dog will have a comfortable indoor sleeping quarter. The size of the sleeping quarters varies from 7.5 sq ft to 64 sq ft. You will have the option to select from a standard room to a suite.

Not your typical dog boarding facility, each dog will enjoy personal outdoor covered patios, ranging from 42 sq ft to 56 sq ft that provide plenty of choice between shade and sunlight for the most relaxing and comfortable stay possible. All areas are equipped with a Dry-Dek mat that keeps them as dry as possible all day long.

Designed with the comfort of your canine in mind

Fon Jon Pet Care Center is specially designed for the comfort of your dog. Every dog will have an individual exercise/potty run separate from the inside sleeping quarters. Your dog will have the freedom to relieve itself any time he/she feels the urge to go potty. In our care your canine will not have to wait and wait for his/her turn to visit the yard. We understand that when a canine is away from home his routine will be affected and therefore he will feel some stress. When stressed, dogs will potty more than normal. We believe your canine will be happier and healthier if he/she has the freedom to potty when nature calls, and not have to hold it until a kennel attendant takes him for a walk or to the yard. This is of extreme importance during the morning potty break. At our Center your dogs, after spending a quiet comfortable night in their inside sleeping quarters, will be awakened and immediately taken directly to the outdoor yard or to a private potty patio. Your dog will say: "NO WAITING!...What a relief!"

Activities

Studies have shown that a lot of daily activities are necessary for a happier and healthier dog. This is our driving motivation to commit to making this vacation the best your dog has ever had. We highly recommend for you to take advantage of our discounted daily activity packages. This will keep your pet always looking forward to the next day.

Our staff is always happy to bounce a ball, fling a Frisbee, or simply sit in the sun while your pal enjoys the outdoor environment within our large secure playground. Depending on your dogs needs and temperament, we offer the following:

• Group Pet 'N' Play Sessions - For those who prefer to socialize, we offer a full hour of excitement with other dogs. All sessions are conducted in our play yard and are supervised by a staff member who will join in the fun - if they let him! (Only for neutered or spayed dogs who are social)
• Private Pet 'N' Play Sessions - For our guests that prefer individual attention, a private session of one-on-one fun is perfect for a bit of exercise.
• Nature Walk - To maintain the similar routine from home, your pet can enjoy a brisk walk with one of our kennel technicians up to four times a day. This is highly recommended for our guests over 7 years old.

Before you enroll your pets in one of our interactive play programs…

These are fast paced, rigorous play situations and, as with children playing sports, minor injuries such as soreness, sprains, strains or joint injuries can occur. While we monitor the level of activity, it is impossible to control all situations or to know the athletic limitations or predisposed genetic conditions of every pet. For this reason, we cannot assume liability for injuries that a pet may cause to itself or another pet while engaged in these activities. If your pet is older we ask that you take careful consideration of all these factors before enrolling your pet in these programs.

Don’t Forget…

• Reservations. Required for lodging. For the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years holiday season, we require reservations made a month in advance.
• Vaccination records. Check our Policies to verify you pet has all the necessary vaccinations.
• Leash & Collar. Necessary for arrival. We take off all leashes and collars and return them to you upon check-in.
• No bugs. Your pet must be free of fleas and ticks when checking in. We will be happy to bathe your pet for you at your expense if external parasites are present.

There is nothing better than a fresh & clean smelling pet. If your pet needs a bath, a toenail clip or a ear cleaning, our trained staff will be glad to take care of all their grooming needs.

Remember to schedule a spa treatment while your pet is staying with us.

A Better Bath

We feature an advanced bathing system from Hydrosurge that penetrates your dog’s fur and provides a soothing massage while spiriting away grime. Your dog will go home smelling amazingly fresh and feeling remarkably clean.

• Standard Bath a complete Hydrosurege experience (as low as $15 per bath)
• Deluxe Baths includes ears and toenails (as low as $25 per bath)
• Boarding Exit Baths –a “clean up bath” including a shampoo and dry (does not include brushing, ears or nails)
