FON JON TRAINING

Private Lessons

Private Lessons consist of you and the dog, meeting with the trainer on an individual basis. Lessons are conducted once a week at the kennel for an hour. The average dog requires only 3 private sessions to complete basic obedience. A puppy must be at least three and a half months old to attend private lessons.

In-Kennel Training

The in-kennel training programs lasts 15 or 30 days, at which time the dog is boarded and trained. At the end of the course, the owner must attend 1 to 3 private classes in order to learn the proper handling techniques. These lessons are included in the overall price. The minimum age for in-kennel training is 6 months and the dog must have received all of the last set of vaccinations.

The 15 day in-kennel training course only covers basic obedience while the 30 day covers basic and intermediate obedience. If you are interested in advanced training, you should discuss it with the trainer. Any behavioral problems must be discussed before the dog is checked into the in-kennel training program.

At-Home Training

In-home training is conducted in your home. The trainer comes to your home to work with you and your dog. Basic obedience takes approximately three one hour sessions. Your dog must be at least three and a half months old to be trained.

The price for in-home training depends on your location. Phone us for prices for in-home training in obedience and/or behavior problem solving.
